Leon Osman has been passed fit and starts Everton’s game against Sunderland.

The midfielder, who suffered an eye injury in last weekend’s victory over Arsenal, wears the captain’s armband at the Stadium of Light.

Gerard Deulofeu is also included in the first XI, replacing Kevin Mirallas in what is the only change to the team named six days ago.

The Spanish winger plays in attack alongside Steven Naimsith and Romelu Lukaku, who were both goalscorers in the 3-0 demolition of the Gunners.
