Leon Osman is to be rewarded for his long service to the Club with a testimonial.
The opposition for the benefit match is not yet known but the game will take place at Goodison Park this summer as part of Everton's pre-season schedule.
Billinge-born Osman has racked up almost 400 appearances since making his Blues debut against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2003 and recently overtook David Unsworth's Club record haul of Premier League outings.
He has decided to support two charities, Claire House Children's Hospice and the Make A Wish Foundation.
"It's great news about the testimonial," said Osman. "It's not something I was thinking about at the start of my career because 10 years seemed such a long way off back then.
"But it's nice to be honoured and I'm looking forward to it."
More information about Osman's testimonial will be announced in the summer.
