Campbell Downs Former Employers

This week will be building up to Sunday’s showdown against Arsenal with a series of classic highlights from past encounters with the Gunners.

Today we start by taking a trip down memory lane to November 2000, when Arsene Wenger brought his team to Merseyside to face-off against Walter Smith’s Blues.

Everton had lost their two previous league outings against Liverpool and Aston Villa – but they bounced back in fine style by securing a deserved 2-0 win.

Young hot-shot Danny Cadamarteri put the Toffees ahead 10 minutes into the second half and Kevin Campbell netted against his former club a quarter of an hour before the end to complete the win.
