Leon Osman’s goal was enough to give the Goodison faithful an early Christmas present as Everton beat Swansea 1-0 in the first Premier League meeting between the clubs in December 2011.

The midfielder’s header on the hour mark decided the contest and, in the process, sent Everton to what was their 1,800th league victory.

That game two seasons ago was the first time Swansea had visited Goodison since February 1983, when Andy King bagged a brace in a 2-2 draw.

Since then – including the December 2011 win – Everton have beaten the South Wales outfit five times in all competitions.

This week, in the build-up to Saturday’s game against the Swans – will be providing highlights of each of these matches.
