Blues' International Action

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

A number of Everton players are away from Finch Farm this week.

As many as 12 senior players and a handful of youngsters will all be representing the Blues in this week's short international break.

Leighton Baines and Ross Barkley are in the England squad to face Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday.

Romelu Lukaku, freshly back from injury, and Kevin Mirallas are with Belgium as they host the Ivory Coast on the same day.

Three Everton players are in the Ireland squad to face Serbia in Dublin, with Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy and Aiden McGeady all set to feature.

Senior squad call-ups are completed by Steven Naismith (Scotland) and Tim Howard (USA).

Naismith and the Scots will travel to Warsaw to play Poland, while the Americans play Ukraine in Cyprus.

In Under-21 action are John Stones (England v Wales), Gerard Deulofeu (Spain v Germany), Apostolos Vellios (Greece v Turkey) and on-loan Shane Duffy (Ireland v Montenegro).

Young Irishman Ben McLaughlin is in his country's Under-19 squad for two games against Romania.

Keep an eye on to see how all our international stars fare this week.
