Matchday Guide: Everton V Aston Villa

@Everton

We celebrate Everton in the Community Day this Saturday – and there's plenty going on to mark the occasion!

The main attraction is the 90 minutes of Premier League action as the Blues aim to rack up another impressive home win against Paul Lambert's Aston Villa.

But fans heading to Goodison Park will also be certain to enjoy the extra activities taking place, with marking the end of the official Club charity's 25th anniversary the grand theme of the afternoon.

Below is your comprehensive guide to what's going on.

MATCHDAY GUIDE

The Players' Parade will once again be in operation, allowing supporters to get autographs and pictures with their favourite Everton stars.

Situated towards the Bullens Road side of the Park End car park, players usually arrive from around two-and-a-half hours before kick-off. Kick off on Saturday is at 3pm.
Local singing sensation Jennifer Jewell and Everton in the Community dance group VIVA KICKZ will be performing in the Fan Zone, where there will be the chance to enjoy the family atmosphere in the lead-up to kick-off.

There will also be giveaways and music, plus the opportunity to grab a free keepsake of your day in the Everton Photobooth.

A special Everton Auction will also take place on the Fan Zone stage, allowing supporters to bid on signed, framed photographs of Roberto Martinez and Steven Pienaar or gloves autographed by Evertonian boxer Tony Bellew.

Elsewhere around the stadium, look out for samba band Batala, who will be drumming their way along the four sides of Goodison Park throughout the early afternoon.
Inside the ground, keep your eyes peeled for a performance of 'Allez, Allez, Allez Oh!' from band Ukebox. A version of the song can be heard here.

There will also be a t-shirt cannon firing prizes into the crowd and the usual Fan Cam giveaway, so make sure you're in your seat in plenty of time before kick off.
At half-time, Batala will be performing inside the ground as we discover whether Everton in the Community have reached their £1million fundraising target!
The matchday programme is again packed from cover to cover, with 84 pages of high-quality content, including notes from manager Roberto Martinez and captain Phil Jagielka, plus a feature interview with new boy Aiden McGeady.

Copies of the publication are available to download here or to buy before the game from sellers in and around the stadium.
To help young supporters join in with the terrace songs, you can download a chant sheet by clicking on the link below. This A4-sized document gives you all the words you need to know for an afternoon at Goodison Park!
