Everton officials have been informed there will now be a slightly reduced ticket allocation for the 222nd Merseyside Derby later this month.
The Club had initially been informed that 2,864 would be available for the Anfield Road end of the stadium but there will now be 177 less tickets resulting in an allocation of 2,687.
The tickets removed from the allocation – ALL SEVERELY RESTRICTED VIEWS - have been done as a result of a licensing issue in order to address safety concerns and to carry out enforcement of the relevant ground regulations due to persistent standing.
Tickets for the game go on sale on Friday 10 January at 8am to 2013/14 Season Ticket holders with 8+ Barclays Premier League away credits.
Should any tickets remain, a further announcement will be made on evertonfc.com on Thursday 16 January.
Those Shareholders wishing to apply for tickets that do not meet the Season Ticket sales criteria set out above should contact firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 6pm on Wednesday 15 January.
Applications accepted after this date will not be considered. All tickets are issued subject to availability. Corporate Hospitality members should contact the corporate sales team directly on email@example.com .
Supporters should note that Liverpool FC will NOT be upgrading tickets on the day of the game.
