Blues Handed Stevenage Tie

Everton will play Stevenage away in the fourth round of this season’s FA Cup.

The tie will take place at Broadhall Way on the weekend of 25 and 26 January, 2014.

Everton have only faced Stevenage once previously – earlier this season at Goodison Park when Gerard Deulofeu’s first goal of his loan spell with the Toffees helped to seal a 2-1 extra-time win in the Capital One Cup second round.

Roberto Martinez’s team booked their place in this stage of the FA Cup with a convincing 4-0 home win over Queens Park Rangers.

Stevenage currently sit bottom of League One but defeated Championship outfit Doncaster Rovers 3-2 on Saturday to earn a berth in the last 32 of the competition. Graham Westley’s side had previously eliminated Portsmouth and Stourbridge.

Tickets and confirmation of a date for the tie will be announced in due course.
