The topic of loans comes up in Wednesday's newspapers - with Roberto Martinez admitting clubs have already contacted him with a view to sending players to Everton next season.

The Toffees chief insists his side's emergence as top-four contenders will not detract clubs from sending players to Goodison Park but instead further boost Everton's reputation as an ideal breeding ground for the game's top talents.

In fact, the Spaniard tells the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror that he believes the success of Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu this season, combined with the style of football the Blues are trying to play, has made Goodison Park a preferred destination for clubs with players they're keen to develop.

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo carries photographs of the first-team squad's visit to Alder Hey Children's Hospital on Tuesday. To see more images, click here.

In the same paper, Phil Jagielka admits his pride at having gone 18 games without a booking this season, while Martinez explains why Deulofeu will be allowed to head home to Spain for Christmas.
