Kevin Mirallas has targeted more goals over the festive period.
The winger emerged from the bench to score Everton's fourth in Saturday's comprehensive win over Fulham.
He had been replaced in the starting XI by Gerard Deulofeu but the Spaniard suffered a second-half hamstring injury, leading to Mirallas' introduction.
Deulofeu is now expected to be out until the New Year and Mirallas told evertontv: "Today was a good victory, the team played well and I am happy to have scored.
"For me, it was a good day. I didn't start but I played well and scored a good goal, although maybe I have to say thank you to the goalkeeper!"
Mirallas had started the away games at Manchester United and Arsenal but was rested for the home game against the Cottagers.
He said: "Before the game he (Martinez) said to me, relax, Gerry will play today but you will play 30 minutes and you will score.
"The team's confidence is 100 per cent but we have another tough game against Swansea now and we will go for the win.
"Over Christmas we play every two days, and it is difficult because all the family are here enjoying themselves. But, for the players, only water!"
