Defulofeu Handed Start

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

Gerard Deulofeu is back in Everton's starting XI for the game against Fulham.

The Spaniard scored the equaliser as a sub at Arsenal at the weekend and is in for Kevin Mirallas against the Cottagers.

Everton's second change sees Leon Osman replace the suspended James McCarthy in central midfield.

It means the goalkeeper and back four are unchanged with Bryan Oviedo keeping his place at left back.

On the bench there is a first inclusion in a match day squad for Antolin Alcaraz.

Dimitar Berbatov leads Fulham's line, with former Toffee Phillippe Senderos in the back four.

Everton: Howard, Oviedo, Distin, Jagielka (c), Coleman, Barry, Osman, Pienaar, Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku. Subs: Robles, Heitinga, Jelavic, Mirallas, Naismith, Stones, Alcaraz.

Fulham: Stekelenburg, Riise, Senderos, Karagounis, Riether, Sidwell, Kacaniklic, Hughes, Dejagah, Parker, Berbatov. Subs: Stockdale, Kasami, Ruiz, Richardson, Duff, Zverotic, Bent.
