Kevin Mirallas and Ross Barkley are back in the Everton side for the trip to Manchester United.

The pair dropped to the bench for the 4-0 win over Stoke at the weekend but are restored to Roberto Martinez's starting XI for the midweek game against the champions.

It means Saturday's star man Gerard Deulofeu and Leon Osman drop to the substitutes bench.

Bryan Oviedo continues at left-back in the absence of Leighton Baines.

The Blues back-line won't have to face Robin van Persie who is injured for United, but Wayne Rooney does start.

Everton's own in-form striker, Romelu Lukaku, will lead the line for the Toffees.

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Oviedo, McCarthy, Barry, Pienaar, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku. Subs: Robles, Heitinga, Jelavic, Deulofeu, Naismith, Osman, Stones.

Man Utd: De Gea, Evra, Smalling, Vidic, Rafael, Giggs, Kagawa, Fellaini, Valencia, Welbeck, Rooney. Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Cleverley, Nani, Young, Hernandez, Januzaj.
