Bryan Oviedo is the man chosen to deputise for Leighton Baines.

And Roberto Martinez has also included Gerard Deulofeu in his starting XI to face Stoke, with Kevin Mirallas dropping to the bench.

Everton's third change from the draw with Liverpool sees Leon Osman in for Ross Barkley.

Baines' toe injury means he misses out with Ovideo given a chance to impress in only his second Premier League start.

Deulofeu's inclusion comes after an impressive cameo against the Reds last weekend.

Mirallas and Barkley join a potent looking bench which also includes Nikica Jelavic and sees a return to the matchday squad for Tony Hibbert.

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Oviedo, McCarthy, Barry, Deulofeu, Osman, Pienaar, Lukaku. Subs: Joel, Hibbert, Heitinga, Jelavic, Mirallas, Barkley, Stones.
