Jags Starts Against Germany

by Adam Clark @efc_adamclark

Phil Jagielka has been named in England's starting line-up for tonight's friendly against Germany but Leighton Baines and Ross Barkley have had to settle for a place on the bench.

The game at Wembley will see the Three Lions tackle the three times World Cup winners for the first time since exiting the 2010 tournament to the same opponents.

Roy Hodgson's men will also be looking to bounce back from Friday's 2-0 reverse against Chile as their preparations for next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil continue.

The game, which kicks off at 8pm, will be shown live on ITV, but follow our official Twitter page for updates and news of how Everton's other internationals are faring around the globe.
