Naismith In For Scotland

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

Steven Naismith has been named in the Scotland squad for their upcoming encounters with the USA and Norway.

Naismith, a squad regular, is part of a 25-man party named by Gordon Strachan for the games later this month.

The international break follows this weekend's Everton match away at Crystal Palace.

The first contest sees a likely clash between Naismith and club mate Tim Howard as the USA visit Hampden Park on 15 November.

The Scots then head to Norway for a second friendly four days later.

Meanwhile, striker Apostolos Vellios has been selected by Greece Under-21s for their games against Sweden and Poland.
