As the latest international break looms, several young Blues have received call-ups for their countries.
Apostolos Vellios has been named in the Greece Under-21 group for their trips to Turkey and Malta this month.
The 21-year-old forward has not featured for Alan Stubbs’ second string in recent weeks, but could turn out for the European Championship qualifying double-header on 10 and 15 October.
Likewise, Matthew Kennedy has been drafted into the Scotland Under-21 squad for qualifiers against Slovakia and Georgia.
Meanwhile, George Green's recent impressive form for Everton Under-18s - including a hat-trick in their last outing against West Brom - has merited a spot in the England squad at the same level.
The Young Lions face Hungary twice at St George's Park on Friday 11 and Monday 14 October.
And in the age group below, Ryan Ledson and Jonjoe Kenny are in line for more Under-17 caps as Head Coach John Peacock prepares for three European Championship qualifiers.
The Academy duo could feature against Armenia on 24 October, with fixtures against Gibraltar two days later and Republic of Ireland on 29 October. All three games will be played in Armenia.
