Gerard Deulofeu can become a match-winner for Everton.
That is the view of manager Roberto Martinez, who believes the Spanish youngster is edging closer to being ready for regular first-team football.
The on-loan Barcelona forward produced some moments of eye-catching flair during the disappointing Capital One Cup exit at Craven Cottage this week.
The Goodison chief has been pleased with Deulofeu's progress and the signs he has seen from the Spanish Under-21 international - although he insists he will continue to ease the 19-year-old into the first-team frame slowly.
He told evertonfc.com: "Every week he is getting stronger. I thought his impact in the first half at Fulham and in the last 15 minutes was quite impressive. He is the sort of player that can win you games. He was electric and looked strong physically.
"He is still learning the differences of the two leagues and that is understandable - it is going to take time and we need to give him that time - but I am very pleased with his attitude and the way he takes opportunities every time he is on the pitch.
"I will need to keep thinking about when to allow him to be on the pitch but I'm very excited by his talent and his potential to win games for Everton."
Deulofeu has started both the Club's Capital One Cup matches this term but has only been used once from the bench in the Premier League.
