Shane Duffy has joined Yeovil Town on a month's loan.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international's move to the Championship club has been completed in time for him to make his debut for The Glovers in Saturday's trip to Bolton.
The 21-year-old central defender from Derry, who has enjoyed previous loan spells at Burnley and Scunthorpe United, will join up with Gary Johnson's Championship newcomers on an initial one month loan.
However, the Blues have also negotiated an option to extend the loan if the switch proves beneficial for both the player and Yeovil.
Duffy has made eight first team appearances for Everton but has not figured in the Blues' line-up since February, when he was used as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Oldham at Boundary Park in the FA Cup fifth round.
