Today's newspapers assess Everton's performance in Saturday's thrilling victory over West Ham United.

The Mail on Sunday go with the headline 'Baines brilliance dazzles Hammers before Lukaku supplies the knockout blow' in reference to the left-back's stunning free-kick double and the fact debutant striker Lukaku admitted recalling nothing of his winning goal following a clash of heads with defender Joey O'Brien.

In the Sunday Telegraph, Blues boss Roberto Martinez hails Baines as 'unique', while the Spaniard tells the Sunday Mirror he struggles to think of any other player in the world who could have produced two set pieces to match the quality of those the England man produced at Upton Park.

The Sunday People also cover the story that Lukaku had to ask Everton's medical staff who had scored the winning goal - and you can watch an interview with the giant Belgian on the topic here.

In the Daily Star Sunday, Darron Gibson explains how he believes the Toffees are moving forward under Martinez as he prepares to return from a knee injury.

The same paper also carries an interview with Under-21s boss Alan Stubbs, who says Ross Barkley possesses the same youthful enthusiasm for playing football that Wayne Rooney had when he first broke through the Goodison ranks.
