Everton fans will have the chance to see new signing Romelu Lukaku for the very first time ahead of Saturday's clash with Chelsea, with the striker set to be paraded in front of the Goodison Park faithful before kick off.

The loan signing is unable to face his parent club but fellow new signings Gareth Barry and James McCarthy could make their debuts in a Royal Blue shirt.

As well as the match action, which kicks off at 5.30pm, a Fan Fiesta will be taking place at the stadium in honour of Spanish manager Roberto Martinez with the aim of making everyone’s matchday as enjoyable as possible.

From 3.30pm there will be free football coaching available at Stanley Park, salsa-style drummers parading around the stadium to build the atmosphere before the game kicks off and performances from a Spanish-styled dance mob in the Fan Zone from 4pm. Nottingham based band The Establishment will also be playing a number of sets in the Fan Zone as part of their national ‘football stadium’ tour.

Spanish restaurant chain La Tasca will run a stall in the Fan Zone with paella and ‘soft’ sangria on offer to families before kick-off.

There will also be a number of giveaways for all our junior fans with hand clappers, Martinez masks, blue noses and flags to be given away by our friendly staff.

The Players Parade will also take place once again and will commence at 2.30pm. As the squad arrive in the Park End car park, young Blues can get signatures in our exclusive autograph booklets.

Once inside the ground, fans can watch the Blues warm-up from 4.50pm, with content in full flow on the big screens and the matchday programme available for just £3 with an exclusive interview with McCarthy.

Keeping with the Spanish theme, there will be a variety of Spanish music and a new music mix of Everton classics and fan favourites playing inside the stadium as the match draws ever closer.

Just before kick-off new signing Lukaku will then take his first steps on the Goodison turf as an Everton player and be paraded to the club’s fans.
