Romelu Lukaku will report for duty at Everton for the first time on Wednesday when the Club’s international stars reconvene back on Merseyside.

The players are due to return to England at various times over the next couple of days, with preparations for the weekend game against Chelsea set to ramp up once everyone is back in the North West on Thursday.

Lukaku is ineligible to feature against his parent club on Saturday evening – but all Evertonians will be hoping his stay at Goodison Park proves just as fruitful as his loan stint at West Bromwich Albion last season when he averaged nearly a goal every two Premier League games.

With fans excited at the prospect of Lukaku pulling on the Blue shirt, the Club’s official betting partner, Paddy Power, have compiled a number of ‘specials’ to mark the striker’s arrival.

Last season the Belgian international hit the ground running by scoring on his Baggies debut in their 3-0 win over Liverpool, and later scored again in the return meeting at Anfield in February. Paddy Power are offering an evens price that he finds the net against the Blues’ Merseyside rivals again this season.

That strike was one of 17 Premier League goals that Lukaku scored last season. Odds of 2/5 are available for the 20-year-old to get over 10 league goals in the 2013/14 campaign and 11/10 that he will register in excess of 15.

And those who are predicting an ultra-prolific season for the striker can get 33/1 that he will be the Premier League’s top goalscorer.

Such was Lukaku’s impact last season, he was shortlisted for the PFA Young Player of the Season award. Gareth Bale eventually took the accolade but the on-loan Chelsea man is 12/1 to scoop the prize this time around.
