With less than 48 hours of the transfer window remaining, it's rumours and speculation aplenty in Sunday's newspapers.

The Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph are just two of a number of papers claiming Manchester United remain keen to sign Everton duo Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.

However, Roberto Martinez has expressed his wish to strengthen ahead of Monday's 11pm deadline and the Sunday Mirror believe the Blues could be prepared to launch a £30million raid for Wigan's James McCarthy, Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi and Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand.

The Sunday People link Everton with a move for McCarthy, a possible transfer which is also speculated in the Sunday Telegraph and the Mail on Sunday.

The People also report that Roberto Martinez will attempt to scupper Liverpool's loan move for Chelsea forward Victor Moses and that Everton turned down the chance to sign Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland, who now looks set to join Middlesbrough.

The same paper suggest that the Blues will ask Manchester United to take midfielder Jesse Lingard on a season-long loan as part of any deal for Baines and Fellaini.

And finally, another tabloid say Martinez remains in the hunt for Blackpool winger Tom Ince, though Aston Villa are also keen to force through a deal.
