Tour Tales: Tim Howard

@Everton

As pre-season approaches its conclusion, so does the evertontv series Tour Tales.

The video feature been running throughout the summer in the build-up to the new Premier League campaign.

Blues past and present have been recalling their favourite and worst pre-season moments, with goalkeeper Tim Howard the latest to step into the hot-seat.

The American discussed a host of subjects, including the reasons why he believes Leighton Baines and Sylvain Distin always excel on the training ground at this time of year.

He said: “They are the usual suspects. These are guys who you know are going to treat it like a matchday. They have all the running stats, put in the hard work and they look after themselves in the close-season as well.

“For them to get their fitness levels back up in pre-season is not that difficult. Those two are naturally some of the hardest workers.”

Former Blues skipper Alan Stubbs and Everton Ladies striker Toni Duggan have also been recalling their Tour Tales to evertontv.
