Roberto Martinez can't wait for the weekend.

Sunday's friendly against Real Betis will be the Spaniard's first home game in charge of the Blues, a perfect conclusion to a busy pre-season schedule.

And with the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League campaign just around the corner, Martinez admits it will be a unique occassion.

"It will be special being at Goodison as the home team manager for the first time," he said.

"I've already had the opportunity to see what a magnificent away support we have, not just in the UK.
"I know how intense the feeling at Goodison can be and that's a very important weapon that we need to use in the future."

Tickets for Sunday's game are on general sale, priced at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions. Click here to purchase and print your tickets at home.
