Roberto Martinez says Valencia will offer his side the perfect test on Tuesday night.
The Everton boss has already pitted his side against Juventus' miserly back three and Real Madrid's lethal counter-attacking on this USA tour.
Now he will face another side with another distinct way of playing.
Martinez told evertontv: "It is a very interesting challenge. They have lost Roberto Soldado to Spurs but they are a very strong side. They have been playing together for a while and they have been playing for a while in the same system.
"They have just beaten Inter Milan by a very good scoreline (4-0) so it will be a very difficult test.
"From a tactical point of view it is very different. What is similar is that they want to have the football and look after possession. That is going to be interesting."
Valencia's regular formation is similar to the one Everton used against Madrid and Martinez expects it to provide his players with an ideal final Stateside examination.
He added: "The system is a 4-2-3-1 which they have mastered over the years.
"We have been fortunate to play Juventus, with the best back three in world football, Real Madrid with the best counter attack in world football and now with Valencia with their settled side and football concepts, it's going to be the perfect final exercise in this country."
