The Montecastillo complex, situated on the outskirts of Jerez, is acting as base for Everton Under-21s during their training camp in Spain.
The facility has proven to be a popular retreat for top European club sides due to its state-of-the-art footballing amenities and the scorching Andalucía climate.
On site are two top quality pitches along with a fully equipped gym, ice baths and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Stewart Sneddon of the SPX football travel agency explains to evertonfc.com why this is the perfect training location for Alan Stubbs’ squad.
He said: “Over the years a number of clubs have used these facilities including Frankfurt, Lokomotiv Moscow, Tottenham, Anderlecht and the Brazil and Argentina national teams.
“It’s only 10 minutes away from Jerez airport and there is exclusive use of the two football pitches on site. There is also plenty of land for running space.
“All the equipment is here so there is not much that the teams need to bring with them, plus there are a number of clubs in the local area that can also provide opposition for any matches.”
Everton Under-21s play one match during their stay in Spain, a friendly against Real Betis B this Wednesday evening.
