A group of forces personnel, football fans and former players will be calling at Goodison Park in a fundraising quest for Help For Heroes.

The Home of the Blues will be one of 92 stops along a 2,600 mile route that aims to encompass all Football League grounds in between two England fixtures at Wembley.

The feat is aimed to be accomplished within 92 hours, starting from Friday 11 October and ending on the evening of Tuesday 15 October.

Backed by the RAF and armed forces, the challenge is one that football fans can follow via on Twitter (@92plus1) and donate to the cause here.

Former footballers including Micky Hazard, Paul Gibbs, Wayne Fereday, Trevor Benjamin and Daryl Sutch will all be taking part in various parts of the route.

The traveling party are expected to call in at Goodison at 6.16am on Monday 14 October midway through a packed schedule.
