Us Tournament Underway

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

Everton's first pre-season outing in America is still two days away, but the International Champions Cup has already kicked off.
Valencia hosted their opening game against AC Milan at their Mestalla Stadium on Sunday, but it would be the Italian giants that came out on top with a 2-1 victory.
With the Blues on the other side of the tournament draw, it means that Wednesday's meeting with Juventus will help determine who Roberto Martinez's side can and cannot face.
A win over the Turin outfit will ensure Valencia will not be Everton's final opponents when the two brackets meet in Miami. Alternatively defeat against Juventus will mean the Blues won't face AC Milan while in the States.
The tournament is set to take greater shape when the remaining quarter-finals commence on Wednesday - Everton's clash with Juventus in San Francisco being one of the standout ties.
Kick-off at AT&T Park is scheduled for 8pm on Wednesday evening, which correlates to 4am Thursday morning in the UK.
But for Blues not able to stay up to watch evertontv Live's streaming coverage, there is still another way to watch all the action.
The full 90 minutes of each of the Toffees' outings in the US will be available on demand no more than four hours after the game, meaning fans can watch the games when they wake up back in England.
Access to the three games - and subsequent highlights - are available individually at just £3.99, with the three-game package on sale at only £8.99.
