Tuesday’s newspapers are linking players with moves both to and away from Goodison Park.

The Times reports that Everton are interesting in signing midfielder Clement Chantome from Paris St Germain, though West Bromwich Albion and Fulham are also said to be keen on the 25-year-old.

Another midfielder whose name is mentioned with Everton is Etienne Capoue of Toulouse. The Daily Mail mentions that Cardiff City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have all shown an interest in the £10million-rated man.

The Daily Star claims the Blues are hoping to land Brazilian left-back Guilherme Siqueira from Granada. However, Real Madrid are also monitoring the 27-year-old, who is valued at around £7million.

Elsewhere, Nikica Jelavic is again linked with Bundesliga outfit Hamburg. The Guardian say that the German club are keen to sign the Croatian but have yet to test Roberto Martinez’s resolve with an offer.

In the Liverpool Echo, Leon Osman has been speaking about the four players to join Everton this summer.

The 32-year-old says he has been impressed with the recruits and that plans for the new season are starting to gather momentum now that the international players – who were given an extended summer break – have all returned to pre-season training.
