Conor Grant says he would love to cap a memorable first trip away with the Everton first-team by making a run out against Austria Vienna on Sunday.
The youngster has been with the squad in the Austrian town of Laa an der Thaya this week preparing for the showdown with the country's Bundesliga champions.
And having learned plenty from his time away, the 18-year-old winger is targeting a fitting climax to an exciting few days.
“It’s been a very good experience so far,” the teenager told evertontv. “I found out the day before that I was coming. Obviously, it was fantastic to hear about it and I’m made up to be here.
“I’m learning every day and I’m trying to pick things up from the players. A lot of them are people I’ve been looking up to for years, even coming to watch them, so it’s great to be with them trying to pick things up.
“All the senior lads have been very good to me and I’ve got four or five lads here from the Under-21s who have been good and who I’ve been hanging around with.
“All the lads have made me feel welcome and that’s good as a young lad.
“That [to play on Sunday] would be brilliant. I’m feeling good, so hopefully I will get a few minutes under my belt.”
