Friday’s Liverpool Echo claims that Everton have cooled their reported interest in Victor Moses.

The Chelsea striker, who netted 10 goals for the Stamford Bridge club last season, was said to be a target for Blues boss Roberto Martinez.

Apostolos Vellios also features in the Echo. The Greek forward says that Everton’s stay in Austria has already been the hardest pre-season of his career.

Vellios has been blogging from the Blues’ Austrian base for evertonfc.com – click here to read his latest update from Laa an der Thaya.

The addition of Dennis Lawrence to the Club's backroom staff is also mentioned in the Echo. The former Trinidad and Tobago international has taken up the position of first-team development coach with the Blues.

Everton’s TV schedule for the first few months of the Premier League season is covered extensively in national newspapers with the Daily Express reporting on BT Sport’s broadcasting of November’s Merseyside Derby.

BT Sport’s new pundit, Steve McManaman picks out Everton boss Roberto Martinez as one of his five managers to watch this season in today’s Daily Star.

The Daily Star also reveal that new Everton loan signing Gerard Deulofeu believes he can learn as much playing for the Blues as he does training at Barcelona with Lionel Messi.

Meanwhile, Everton and England Ladies’ midfielder Jill Scott is featured in the Daily Mail discussing how the England squad have been practicising penalties ahead of their UEFA Women’s Championship campaign.
