Everton will welcome Real Betis to Goodison Park for a pre-season friendly on Sunday 11 August.

The Spanish side provide the Blues' final warm-up fixture ahead of the 2013/14 Premier League season and it will be the first meeting between the sides.

Seville-based Betis finished seventh in La Liga last term – enough to book them a place in next season's Europa League.

Managed by their former striker Pepe Mel, Betis could be the third Spanish side Everton encounter this summer, with Real Madrid and Valencia both involved in the International Champions Cup in the United States.

Ticket information for the 3pm kick-off will be announced on shortly.
