Seamus Coleman is hoping to impress new manager Roberto Martinez from the moment the Blues report back for pre-season training.
Martinez was appointed the new Everton boss last week and will meet the squad at Finch Farm next month ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
Coleman, a Moyes signing in 2009, has taken his fine Club form onto the international stage and is set for more action when the Republic of Ireland take on Spain in a showcase fixture in New York on Tuesday evening.
But the right-back has been keeping a close eye on goings-on at Goodison while away and admits he is itching to meet his new boss.
Coleman said: "I'm obviously looking forward to the new manager, starting all over again, trying to impress him in pre-season, trying to do all the things right to make sure you're in his team."
Also in the Ireland squad is Wigan midfielder James McCarthy - and Coleman revealed he's been quick to quiz his compatriot about the Spaniard.
"I spoke to James about him," he explained. "He always has good things to say about him. Like David Moyes with me, Martinez was brilliant with James, so he obviously has positive things to say."
