Tony Hibbert surprised a lucky group of junior Blues at their Maghull nursery when he turned up for a exclusive reading session.

To celebrate the launch of My First Everton Book, the Blues defender took copies of the new book for each of the kids at Bright Days Nursery and helped them as they learned to read.

The youngsters, aged 3-5, were delighted with their surprise visitor and also their brilliant new books.

Hibbert said: “I’m really pleased to come along to the nursery and meet all the kids. My First Everton Book is a lovely read and hopefully it will make young people even prouder to be Blue.”

My First Everton Book is the first edition in an innovative series of children’s board books. Designed for 0-5 year olds, it aims to introduce children to the Toffees and the joys of books at the same time.
It’s the perfect gift to teach junior Evertonians all they need to know about being a Blue.
With special illustrations and attractive bright colours, children can learn all about Everton – from the royal blue shirt, to Goodison Park and even how to celebrate a goal!
My First Everton Book has been written using established educational techniques and designed with dyslexia friendly fonts.
Priced at only £6.99, the book is available to buy now at Everton One and Everton Two. It’s also available to buy online at or .
