Everton Under-21s will head to White Hart Lane on Monday 13 May for their semi-final against Tottenham (7pm kick-off).

The Blues booked their place in the last four of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League knockout stage with a dramatic play-off win against Newcastle at Goodison on Tuesday evening.

The game ended 2-2 after 90 minutes and 3-3 after extra time, meaning penalties were required to separate the sides.

Everton ran out 5-3 winners after converting all of their spot-kicks, edging out the Group Two winners and extending their own unbeaten run to 16 games having topped Group One.

Tottenham finished in pole position of the Elite Group, with the three mini-leagues having been split up by results in the first stage of the season.

Manchester United and Liverpool will contest the other semi-final, with the sides finishing second and third in the Elite Group respectively.

The winner of that tie would hold home advantage for the final, provisionally scheduled for Monday 20 May.

The semi-finals and final will be played over 90 minutes with extra time and penalties if required.
