Monday's newspapers are predictably full of reflection on yesterday's Merseyside derby.

Match reports feature across the board, with many nationals leading with David Moyes' reaction to Sylvain Distin's disallowed goal in the 0-0 draw at Anfield.

The Blues boss claims his defender's header should have stood - those quotes appear in The Telegraph among others.

Elsewhere, Tim Howard shares his manager's views in the Liverpool Echo and says the players are disappointed but determined not to let it affect their final two games of the season.

The Times include a stat about Leighton Baines being the only outfield player to appear for every minute of the Premier League campaign so far - a feat the England left-back also achieved two seasons ago.

The Daily Star's WSL round-up features news of Jill Scott's late winner as Everton Ladies defeated Chelsea in Conti Cup action.

And the Daily Mail link the Blues with a swoop for QPR winger Junior Hoilett, claiming Stoke and Swansea are also interested in the 22-year-old.
