Jagielka Thanks Early Birds

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

Phil Jagielka has thanked the thousands of Evertonians who have snapped up their Season Tickets for the 2013/14 campaign.

Over 20,000 supporters have already secured their seat at Goodison Park for every Premier League game next season and with Season Ticket sales up by more than 3% on last year's figures, the Blues'  captain-in-waiting has praised the commitment of Evertonians.

Jagielka said: "Goodison Park is a ground that a lot of teams don't relish coming to and part of the reason is the atmosphere generated by our fans.

"Their loyalty and passion is second to none and the commitment shown once again by our Season Ticket Holders is tremendous."

The number of supporters committing to another season at Goodison Park has increased right across the board with more juniors, adults and OAP's securing their seat than at the same time last year.

To date, the highlights of the Season Ticket sales are:

  • Once again, the £95 Season Ticket for Under 11's has proven popular with 1,208 kids committing to join the Goodison faithful next season - that figure is 10% higher than at the same time last year.
  • This year, online sales have grown to 45%
  • Almost 20% of supporters have taken up the option of spreading their payment through the 'easy to buy from' Direct Debit scheme.

Although the Early Bird window is closed, there is still time for existing Season Ticket holders to guarantee their seat for next season with their seats reserved to buy until May 13.

To buy your Season Ticket, visit the Box Office at Goodison Park, call 0871 663 1878* or click here. Alternatively you can visit the ticket desk upstairs at Everton Two, Liverpool One.
