Thursday's newspapers are packed with previews of Sunday's Merseyside derby.

Seamus Coleman appears in the Liverpool Echo stating his desire for a sixth clean sheet in eight games when the Blues head to Anfield.

The Echo's David Prentice takes a look at the stats of both Merseyside teams this campaign and highlights the differing styles, with Everton notably more effective on the wings than their counterparts.

Tim Howard tells the Liverpool Post that the Blues are confident of silencing the hosts' attack, while Phil Jagielka talks about taking over the Everton captaincy in the same paper.
