Leighton Baines has been named in the PFA Premier League team of the year.
The XI was revealed at Sunday night's PFA Awards dinner, held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.
It is the second season in succession that Baines has been included in the team after fending off competition from the likes of Chelsea’s Ashley Cole and Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.
The left-back has been a model of consistency for the Blues this season, making 40 appearances in all competitions and scoring seven goals.
Since August, Baines has also won seven more caps for England. He netted his first international goal in the 5-0 World Cup qualifying win over Moldova in September.
Gareth Bale won both the PFA Player and PFA Young Player of the Year awards, while Everton Ladies striker Toni Duggan was third in the inaugural PFA Women's Player of the Year vote.
The team is: David de Gea (Manchester United), Leighton Baines (Everton), Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham Hotspur), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Juan Mata (Chelsea), Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur), Luis Suarez (Liverpool), Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Robin van Persie (Manchester United).
