Phil Jagielka returns from injury to captain Everton against Fulham - but there is no Darron Gibson for the Blues.

Jagielka has recovered from his ankle problem after missing last weekend’s 1-0 defeat against Sunderland, however Gibson has failed to shrug off the problem that saw him substituted at half-time at the Stadium of Light.

Nikica Jelavic is restored to the starting line-up by David Moyes, while John Heitinga drops down to the bench.

Tony Hibbert is also named amongst the substitutes after recovering from a calf problem that last saw him in first team action against Manchester City in December.

Everton line-up with Tim Howard in goal and a back four of Leighton Baines, Jagielka, Sylvain Distin and Seamus Coleman.

Steven Pienaar and Kevin Mirallas man the flanks with Leon Osman and Marouane Fellaini operating. in central midfield.
