Moyes Hopeful On Duo

@Everton

David Moyes will make a late decision on whether to involve Darron Gibson and Phil Jagielka against Fulham on Saturday.

Gibson was withdrawn at half-time against Sunderland last week, while Jagielka missed the trip to Wearside after suffering a recurrence of his recent ankle injury in the latter stages of the goalless draw with Arsenal 10 days ago.

Moyes is also hopeful that Victor Anichebe can shrug off a hamstring problem which saw him substituted with 13 minutes remaining at the Stadium of Light.

“Darron's got a chance,” said Moyes at his pre-match press conference. “Phil Jagielka's got a chance as well, so we'll be close to having a full squad to choose from.

“I’m not sure if they're quite right yet. But I'll assess that and make a decision closer to kick off time.

“Victor had a bit of a hamstring problem at the end of the game and he felt it tightening up. It’s not as bad as we thought but we couldn’t take any chances.

“We are getting close to full strength and hopefully we will not be too far away from that.”

Moyes also confirmed that Tony Hibbert is nearing a first-team return following his spell on the sidelines.

“Tony Hibbert has played a few reserve games now. He was out for three months after quite a severe calf operation.

“Tony is not too far away from it and when the opportunity arises I’ll try and reintroduce him.”
