Alan Stubbs has named a youthful side for Everton’s final home fixture of their Barclays Under-21 Premier League Group One campaign against Chelsea this evening.

Goalkeeper Russell Griffiths, along with midfielders Joe Williams and Ryan Ledson all make their debuts, while there is also a first start for striker Courtney Duffus.

The Blues welcome the West Londoners to Southport’s Merseyrail Community Stadium for the 7pm kick-off looking to further extend their 13-game unbeaten run.

The goalless draw against Sunderland on Monday evening ensured Everton will finish top of the table and qualify for the play-offs where they will host the winners of Group Two.

Everton line up against Chelsea with Griffiths in goal and a defence consisting of John Stones, Tyias Browning, Johan Hammar and Luke Garbutt.

Ledson and Williams are joined in midfield by George Green, Gethin Jones and Matthew Kennedy, with Duffus leading the line in attack.

Everton Season Ticket holders and FOREVERTON members are able to gain free admission to all home Under-21 fixtures at Southport.

Members of the public can gain access by payment at the turnstiles (adults £5, concessions £3). Southport Season Ticket holders will also be able to gain entry for free.

For those unable to attend, and the Club's official Twitter feed will provide updates, with highlights and interviews on evertontv from Tuesday.
