Everton Ladies striker Toni Duggan has been shortlisted for the PFA women's player of the year award.
The in-form Duggan is one of six nominations for the award, which is being handed out for the first time this year.
Duggan, 21, has had an excellent 12 months in which she became an Everton regular before forcing her way into the England squad.
She has started this season in scintillating form, netting four times in two games this week.
Also nominated for the award are Arsenal trio Gemma Davison, Kim Little and Jordan Nobbs, Seattle Reign's Jess Fishlock and Jodie Taylor of Birmingham.
After hearing the news Duggan tweeted to her 7,700 followers: "Thanks for all your messages regarding PFA nomination & congrats to the other nominees. Looking forward to attending the awards next weekend."
The winner will be revealed at the PFA Awards dinner on 28 April.
