Tony Hibbert will step up his comeback from injury with another runout for Everton's Under-21 team on Monday.
The right-back will start at Middlesbrough, seven days after completing 67 minutes for the second string on his return from a four-month absence.
Hibbert, 32, is eligible for the match as the rules of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League permit three overage outfield players to be selected.
Injuries have restricted the defender to just five first-team appearances this term, the last of which came at Manchester City prior to an operation on his calf in December.
The Academy product is joined in Alan Stubbs’ line-up by three other players with first-team experience - Luke Garbutt, Francisco Junior and Apostolos Vellios - while regulars John Stones, Matthew Kennedy, Conor Grant and Tyias Browning also feature.
Chris Long, who scored twice at Goodison Park in the Under-18s' recent FA Youth Cup game against Norwich, completes the line-up having been rewarded with his first Under-21 start of the campaign. The striker, 18, has five substitute appearances to date.

Kick off is at 1pm. Follow us on Twitter (@Everton) for live updates.
Everton: Springthorpe, Hibbert, Garbutt, Junior, Stones, Browning, Long, Grant, Vellios, Hope, Kennedy. Subs: Griffiths, Hammar, Molyneux, Pennington, Waring
