Marouane Fellaini knows Everton's form means he's not guaranteed an instant recall following suspension.
Fellaini and fellow midfielder Steven Pienaar missed the 1-0 win over Stoke and the 2-2 draw at Tottenham as they both served two game bans.
But they are eligible to return against QPR at Goodison Park on Saturday - though Fellaini insists he's not expecting to walk straight back into the starting XI.
He told evertontv: "Maybe I will play, maybe not because the team is playing well at the moment.
“Steven is an important player for us, he creates a lot of chances and can score goals as well."
The giant Belgian also revealed the impact departing skipper Phil Neville had on his career when he switched to Everton from Standard Liege.
Fellaini declared: "For me he is a big captain, a great professional and a big mouth!
"Everton will miss him because he is a big player. He is a good guy, he talked with me all the time and gave me confidence."
