Everton made a blistering start to the 2006/07 season, going unbeaten for the first seven Premier League matches.
During that sequence of results, the Blues claimed a 2-0 win away to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of August.
It was a victory made even more impressive due to the fact that Everton had to play for over half an hour with 10 men after Kevin Kilbane was sent off for two bookable offences.
But goals either side of the Republic of Ireland international’s dismissal saw David Moyes’ side to victory.
After a first-half stalemate, an own goal in the 53rd minute from Calum Davenport put the Blues ahead.
The lead was doubled 13 minutes later when summer signing Andy Johnson scored his second goal in three games, sliding in to convert from six yards out.
The victory was the Club’s first in the league at White Hart Lane since 1985.
