Ladies Thrash Oxford In Fa Cup

@Everton

A hat-trick from Toni Duggan helped Everton ladies ease to a thumping 7-0 victory over Oxford at the Kassam Stadium.

The fifth round FA Cup tie, dubbed the biggest game in United’s history drew an impressive crowd of 900 who witnessed a clinical attacking display from Super League outfit Everton.

The visitors took the lead after 10 minutes through Brooke Chaplen with Toni Duggan and Michelle Hinnigan adding two quick fire goals on 15 minutes and 18 minutes respectively.

Another goal from Duggan just shy of half-time put the Toffees in cruise control.

Hinnigan’s precise finish made it five, before Duggan completed her hat-trick.

Everton were in seventh heaven when Nikita Parris netted her second goal in as many games to round off a near-perfect afternoon for Andy Spence’s side.

The Blues now travel to Bristol Academy on Sunday 14 April in the sixth round.
