The Premier League's dubious goals panel have confirmed Everton's second goal against Manchester City will be attributed to Nikica Jelavic.

The Croat broke clear and converted Marouane Fellaini's pass to seal the Blues' stunning 2-0 win over the Premier League champions.

His left-foot effort glanced off Gael Clichy on its way past Joe Hart but the adjudicators have now confirmed what everyone inside Goodison already knew - it was Jelavic's goal.

The strike followed a first half screamer from Leon Osman as Everton signalled their intent to end the season strongly.

Everton are back in Premier League action on Saturday evening when they face Stoke City at Goodison Park. To secure tickets, click here, call 0871 663 1878* or visit the Box Office, Everton Two or TicketQuarter.
