Jill Scott helped England women's senior team lift the Cyprus Cup with a 1-0 win over Canada on Wednesday.
The Everton Ladies midfielder played the full 90 minutes of the final, with Rachel Yankey's goal proving decisive against the Olympic bronze medallists.
Fellow Blues Toni Duggan and Rachel Brown were unused substitutes for the showdown, but both played their part in the Lionesses' march to glory.
Goalkeeper Brown donned the gloves for the incredible 4-4 draw against Scotland, while Duggan netted her first senior goal on her first start against the Scots.
The 21-year-old grabbed her second strike in the next match, a 3-1 win over New Zealand on Monday.
England last won the annual competition in 2009 and will face Canada again in a friendly at Rotherham on Sunday 7 April.
The Cyprus Cup has served as good preparation for players domestically, with Everton Ladies set to kick off their 2013 campaign this coming Sunday.
