Everton Football Club is backing a campaign to encourage young football fans to see a match by the end of the season.
Match of the Day magazine has launched ‘Kids go free with MOTD’ to support live football and the Blues have kicked off the campaign by offering junior supporters the chance to win free tickets to see Everton in action at Goodison Park.
Only fifty percent of boys who are football fans aged 11-19 have been to a live game in the past year, so the UK’s best-selling youth football magazine has teamed up with the FA and a host of Premier League clubs to offer FREE tickets for kids.
Robert Elstone, Chief Executive of Everton Football Club, said: “There’s nothing quite like watching your team play live in a stadium full of supporters. We have put various initiatives in place to bring junior Blues through the turnstiles at Goodison Park, including the introduction of a Season Ticket priced at just £95 for under 11s, so we are proud to kick off this campaign aimed at helping young people to experience a Premier League matchday.”
